The ABOLLO DRUM MOWER is connected to the tractor via a three-point hitch system, receiving motion from the PTO shaft at 540 rpm and transferring it to the drums via a belt and pulley system. The freely swinging blades on the two drums, rotating in opposite directions, open under centrifugal force, cutting green fodder crops (such as clover, meadow plants, barley, oats, etc.) and leaving them on the fi eld surface in windrows. The machine is protected against potential damage caused by obstacles in the fi eld. Thanks to the spring system, the machine fl exes according to fi eld terrain, preventing damage to the machine. The gears inside the gearbox are milled for maximum grip, eliminating wedge slippage problems. The cutting height can be adjusted using fl anges placed inside the lower drums. Green fodder crops like clover are cut from a higher position, allowing the plants to regrow. Removing the fl ange in the lower drums lowers the cutting height to the closest distance, allowing weeds to be cut at a minimal level.
